Family photography

As with any parent, the birth of my first child marked a new stage and changed the way I see the world. Photography being an essential part of my life, has also changed. I continue to see the wedding day as one of the most important in our lives, but now I also want to devote myself to capturing the everyday beauty that is found after the wedding in the so-called “mundane” days. The expectation, fatigue and happiness of pregnancy; The stress, fatigue and infinite joy that follow the birth of a child; The routines that change with the age of the children… I find that there is as much beauty and as many memories to capture in photo in day-to-day life as in a wedding day.

That’s why I decided, that just as for wedding photography, I would propose several packages specially designed for each stage of family life: Maternity photography, Newborn photography, Baptism photography, Child, and family photography. In addition I offer my special package Family Day.

Maternity

Having our portrait taken when we’re pregnant is not just a way to remember the changes in our bodies in this beautiful moment of our lives, it is an opportunity to capture the days of waiting, fatigue and happiness of pregnancy.

Newborn

This little being that you waited for all these months is with you and you never tired of watching his/her little hands, feet, eyes … I would be there to capture in pictures the awaited little one with the tired but very happy parents.

Child Photography

Your child grows up and you want to capture a moment in his life because, yes, they change so fast. They change physically, but also their interests, manias and habits, change. I capture photos of children in motion; honest and spontaneous portraits.

Family portrait

You want to capture a moment in your family life that changes so fast. In a chosen setting, and with little direction on my part, we will make honest and spontaneous family portraits.

A Day in the Life of a Family

You want to capture a day in your family life, honestly and without artifice. I offer family day and afternoon packages. The idea here is to have the time needed to let things happen and be able to capture your day to day.

Baptism

Baptism is one of the first important events in your child’s life, one of the first celebrations. I would be there to photograph the ceremony and celebration, not to mention the family portraits.

My approach to family photography is not strictly documentary. I want to capture the truth of a relationship through look and gesture, even if some conditions are somewhat preconceived. For 2h shooting packages, a little direction is required. That’s why I also offer family day and afternoon packages. The idea here is to have the time needed to let things happen and be able to capture your day to day.

In my personal photos I never did ask or tried to build a setting. My baby’s photos are documentary. I became more aware of this after reading the excellent book Stories of Home by Kate Densmore. I would also like to make for you this type of photos, honest photos that reflect your everyday life. Spontaneous photos made in discretion.
